Tools to enhance your Therapy Journey
An 8-week DBT informed psycho-educational group.
This will be a small group of approximately 12 people.
This group will have a focus on managing day to day personal experiences in the present moment. By understanding our biology and developing skills to be more consciously aware of our experiences as they happen, it is possible to become the driver, rather than the passenger, of our experiences.
Nobody likes feeling out of control. Learn practical skills to be able to self-regulate during uncomfortable emotional experiences, survive a crisis without making things worse, and learn simple strategies to seek safe interpersonal connection – activating your Ventral Vagal nerve, promoting safe social engagement. Together we will explore the importance of body language, tone of voice, eye contact within your relationships. These skills will help you in your day to day life, as well as support your therapy journey.
